THE OLD TEA HOUSE

Based on a photograph over a hundred years old, an attempt has been made to recreate the image of the tea house. Such establishments were typically located near markets. Residents, coming from distant villages to the market, would stop by to rest, chat, and have a cup of tea.

Manor (Savičiūnai Manor)

Based on a photo found online, the old Savičiūnai Manor was recreated.

The main buildings of the Savičiūnai Manor were constructed between 1754 and 1763. Savičiūnai is a village in the Svėdasai district, located near the road connecting Anykščiai and Rokiškis.

Small houses and their everyday life reflect the history of Lithuania. The exterior and interior of the miniature houses have been recreated based on the stories of the elders, photographs, preserved old houses, as well as by reading various Lithuanian folk tales, traveling through villages, and visiting museums.
